So with out facebook/twitter which I gave up for lent-I have "time" to play along with this type of thing

1. I really love to SPAZ dance-like failing until you are super out of breath. I only do this alone or with the kiddos, but it makes me laugh so hard and it is really fun.


2. I have a total love affair with my CROCKPOT. Yeah -I cook like every meal in that thing. Family Faves are Taco Soup and salsa chix

3. I love water aerobics.

4. I wish I was in a band that sang songs about being a mom.

5. I hate Alfredo sauce.

7. I miss school and I want to get my Ph D. and teach social work.

1. If money, schooling or time was no obstacle, what career would you choose?
           I think I would love to work as a wildlife guide. Taking people out camping experiencing the outdoors.
2. What's the one thing you look forward to every day?
          Smiles and happy moments with my family. 
3. What is your number one, all-time, favorite blog?
          This is hard- I think I would have to say Soule Mama. Amanda is endlessly inspiring and had brought up my knitting game by 10 because everything she shares I want to do ;).
4. Biggest online pet peeve?
          facebook-vaugebooking. Part of the reason I gave up facebook for 40 days!
5. What is your all-time favorite book?
          The Harry Potter series-book 3
6. What would your "last meal" be?
          Also hard, I really like good food-but something fresh and local. 
7. Do you believe in love at first site?
          I did not until- I met Luis. Seriously the moment we shook hands. I fell head over heels in love with him. He is my soul mate...so yes I do. 
8. What would your ideal Sunday morning consist of?
         Waking up early early morning x-country ski (out my backdoor), come home breakfast, reading and knitting snuggled up to a woodstove. Then church. 
9. Why do you blog?
           To remember.
10. If you had to choose one color to wear forever, what would you pick?
          Blue. because I love it.

I am a nerd! But I make cute babies with my husband. (Would that not be the best bumper sticker evah!)

My field instructor just emailed me and was so excited! I start school in about a month and my insides are about to burst with excitement!!! (there are also bursting from the loans that I just took out as well)

Meanwhile we try to soak in summer just as much and as fast as we can, parties are coming up the next two weekends. Where we will celebrate marriages and babies. Then a little camping is in order and finally just a sit and relax kinda weekend.

Some things I want to do: (If you are on this list watch out for an email coming to your inbox soon)

1. Make some jam
2. Have a dinner party.
3. Camping with the family
4. Christine! I must see you soon!
5. Farmers Market
6. Baby food
7. Laptop (new one)

Here is my belly at 32 weeks with a 3.5lb baby inside...I know it is blurry, but really no one wants to see the crystal clear picture of my stretch marks or funky look bruises (from the blood thinner shots) or veins.... But really it is crazy how rapidly my belly expanded this pregnancy. I have honestly felt this huge for about a good 3 months. Either way I am so excited to meet this kid and see where the world takes us.

We decided it was about time to get some good bath tub pictures of Matias for when he get married or brings home his first girlfriend.

Matias poses for the camera, the shot is blurry because I am laughing at him. Lately he poses with his head titled, so I was saying put your head straight...put your head straight. When I thought about it then I starting laughing.

Finally, Matias reads to his tigers. Can you find them in the photo. So cute how he loves to take care of his friends. Hopefully he can translate this into caring for his baby sister. But only time will tell.

Life in Bullets

• Staying up to 1:30 in the morning to finish the 3 book in the Twilight series is always a poor idea. (Read these books!!!!) Seriously, I will write a post in Aug. about the series when the 4th and (I think final book comes out)
• Matias wakes up two early and too happy! Dang him for being so cute.
• Potato chips make an excellent sub. for bread crumbs.
• Did you know that most nursing programs are considering for the 2010 school year!
• No one is in the office this morning
• We are selling our Honda civic tonight! YEA!
• We are putting up a privacy fence in the near future~with the money from the car
• I want an iPhone (want is the key word)
• Blogger just spelled check iphone (see above) as wrong...hmmm

Musicals!

EmilyStyle a random blog I read just wrote this post about musicals. Now it made me think of 10 random facts about the role of Musicals in my life...

1. I love musicals, and I have not watched one or went to one live in a very long time.
2. Matias loves the West Side Story soundtrack and we now have a routine for JETS song
3. I want to host a musical viewing night once a month!
4. My favorite musical is Les Miz, followed closely by Martin Guerre.
5. Joe M. (my first true love:)) broke up with me the day after we saw RENT.
6. I saw Showboat and then stole the soundtrack from my mom and still have it...when i get sad I play old man river and lay on the floor and feel sad (beat that emo kids)
7. When people in middle school would look at my cd collection they would reply....you only have musicals.....(and only Ryan M. would understand the truth behind it all)
8. I characterized most of high school by musicals
9. I wanted to be a musical theater actress, and was going that route in college.
10. I have never been to Broadway (sad and true)
