I didn't wait for the right moment, I just started

and now i have this...

New Rings

I have been thinking about updating my wedding bands. At this time I have a lovely  ring with a blue stone and a white gold band. When I wear both together they are huge on my hand. I am finding it difficult to type with them on. SO now I very rarely wear my wedding band.....(bad.)

So now I am contemplating a smaller band, that is hand crafted. I have been looking at many places. In reality I would love to melt down my grandma setting and my own and have a new ring created from them. How cool would that be! Does anyone know a person that could or would do that....

More importantly I should have thought about all of this before I went to some mall store for my wedding rings..*sigh*

11 months

Has it been a whole month...geez.

Milli is now 11 months..*tear

Next month is the big party. We are doing a combined party with Luis. SO if you like ribs and other pinic foods. We are having an indoor picnic. What is Milli up to...lots of mischief she is a busy person who needsss her mama. I am ok with that because she won't in about a year...

Sweet 10

what makes me happy....when I get to kiss this face, who is now 10 months old. Who is crawling up and down stairs chairs and tables. Who is funny and sweet and not very cuddly.....and who just turned off the baby monitor...better go check it out....until then

Weekending...

What a nice weekend.

It was so nice to not have school! We stayed home Friday night, I watched Rachel Getting Married and Sat morning I left bright and early to go get some homework done. Luis and the kids went sledding and met me at Highland grill for brunch. We went home, and the kids took a nap and I did some knitting and homework. Luis went to get some things at target including the 3rd House of Night book for me. It is my new vampire fix ;) Matias went over to the Lunder-Parker's for a playdate and then went to the co-op to get the rest of our ingredients for granola. When we got home I made granola and quesdillas for the kids. Luis and I were still pretty full from brunch and decided we would just have a snack during the evening.
We just hung out again and I did (you gussed it) more homework.

Today, we went to church. Watch Cars, did dishes, and watch a little super bowl. We are out on a quick date tonight to do our marriage course homework. 

It was really nice to relax and have fun with the kids. We are so grateful that we go to such a wonderful church, I had someone pray for me today and I feel like a new person. Yeah! I hope you all have a good week.
